Promontory Golf and Residential Development

RSA Construction Group built three premiere 18-hole golf courses and performed infrastructure development for the exclusive Promontory residential community in Park City, Utah. The private golf resort features the Pete Dye Canyon Course and two Jack Nicklaus signature design courses; the Painted Valley Golf Course and The Ranch Club course, also located in Painted Valley.

As general contractor for the spectacular Pete Dye Canyon golf course, RSA crews performed earthwork, grading, construction of greens, bunkers, tee areas, timber walls, and rock walls around ponds and water areas. Working in environmentally sensitive, mountainous terrain, crews also installed the irrigation system, the pump station, all irrigation mains, and laterals to all sprinkler heads, and laid sod for the entire course. The turnkey project included construction of practice areas for the course.

The two Jack Nicklaus golf courses in Painted Valley included a full range of construction activities from earthwork to piping installation, start-to-finish shaping, sod installation, greens, bunkers, tees, cart path bridge construction, concrete-lined stream channels and several wetland enhancement areas.

RSA was also the design-build contractor for the nearby 7,000-acre Promontory residential subdivision infrastructure, located in a mountainous resort area. Awarded multiple contracts for this commercial construction, crews performed site work, water tank construction and associated piping, foundations, landscape design and property improvements specific to building sites and planned site amenities.

The Dye Canyon Course and Nicklaus Painted Valley Golf Course are ranked #2 and #3 in Utah by Golf Digest magazine.
